We do not use advertising or social tracking pixels.

3. Why we use your data (legal basis)

Security & uptime — legitimate interest in operating a reliable service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Website analytics — legitimate interest in understanding aggregate traffic to improve the product (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Plausible does not use cookies for this purpose.
4. AI-generated content & sources
Article titles and summaries on RefreshGauge are generated with AI from publicly available RSS feeds and linked
to the original publishers. We do not claim ownership of source material. Summaries may contain inaccuracies;
always refer to the original article. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

8. Cookies
RefreshGauge uses Plausible Analytics in its default, cookieless configuration. Plausible does not
place analytics cookies or use local storage for tracking. We do not show a cookie consent banner for this limited

If we change analytics tools or enable features that use cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent
where required by law.

We aim to process data within the European Economic Area. If a processor transfers data outside the EEA,
